Now home to the Italian Cultural Foundation, this beautiful Italian stucco home in Grymes Hill was originally built for silk merchant Louis Stirn and later served for years as residence to the president of Wagner College. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  1. Is anyone living in it now? Looks like the kind of place a capo du tutti capi would live in, a la Paul Castellano, except it’s too classy-looking for those gavons.

  2. Worth a visit, especially for its fantastic vista of lower New York Bay.
