It Happened Today in New York City
On January 10, 1941, Joseph Kesselring’s comedy masterpiece, Arsenic and Old Lace, opened at the Fulton Theatre. The ensemble included Josephine Hull, who would reprise her role in the 1944 film, and Boris Karloff, who would not. The play went on to run for 1,437 performances and has been revived at professional and amateur theatre companies all over the world.
