115 YEARS AGO TODAY…
On October 25, 1900, physician, inventor, and pharmaceutical manufacturer, Edward Robinson Squibb died of a ruptured blood vessel at his home in Brooklyn. Dr. Squibb had been one of the founders of modern American medical chemistry. His company, E.R. Squibb & Sons, eventually became part of Bristol-Myers Squibb. But he did not live to see it, dying at the age of 81.
