05-03 NashOn May 3, 1930, The New Yorker published a comical bit of verse entitled Spring Comes to Murray Hill and launched the career of a then unknown 28-year old poet, Ogden Nash. For four decades, Nash would continue to charm and delight readers with silly rhyme choices and nutty ideas, all the while skewering middle class convention with droll wit.
