13 42nd StreetIn 1933, the heyday of the “backstage musical”, Busby Berkeley gave us the greatest of them all, 42nd Street. Tap dancing phenomenon, Ruby Keeler, is told she’s “going out there, a youngster, but coming back, a star”. And this tribute to the grandest thoroughfare in midtown is one of the reasons why.
